About
The Plaza Skateboard Park, located in Vancouver near the southeast corner of Andy Livingstone Park, between Quebec and Union Streets under the Georgia and Dunsmuir Viaducts, has been a staple for advanced skateboarders since it opened in 2004 and received upgrades in 2011. Covering 2,000 m² (21,500 ft²), it offers a mix of exposed aggregate, brick, concrete, granite, and steel surfaces to skate on.
During the summer, a skate host is available three to four times a week to help with maintenance, park etiquette, and first aid. Recreational lessons and classes are also held at The Plaza Skateboard Park, ideal for those wanting to improve their skills or learn new tricks. The park can be reserved online for private events or gatherings.
Greg, as the organizer, wants the sports community to know that The Plaza Skateboard Park is a great space for challenging oneself and connecting with other skaters. Its central location and unique features make it a must-visit for any skateboarding enthusiast in Vancouver. Whether you're just starting out or looking for a new challenge, The Plaza Skateboard Park has something to offer.
