Located in Lancaster, The Performance Studios is a performing arts group that offers a range of classes for children and young people. From Tots to Teens, their performance classes introduce students to the fundamentals of singing, dancing, and acting.
The classes at The Performance Studios aim to provide students with a solid foundation in vocal range, flexibility, and projection. In addition to honing their performance skills, the sessions also emphasise building confidence and overcoming fears. Whether your child dreams of a career in the arts or simply wants to develop their life skills, the classes at The Performance Studios will help them demonstrate confidence throughout their future endeavours.
The group boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including the prestigious Dukes Theatre in Lancaster and the Richard Whiteley Theatre at Giggleswick School in Settle. These venues, coupled with an industry-trained team, provide children with the perfect platform to explore their passion on stage and recognise their potential.
The Performance Studios offers a variety of classes tailored to different age groups. The Tots class, for children aged 3–4 years, takes place on Sundays from 9:00am to 10:30am. The Juniors class, for 6-7-year-olds, is held on Saturdays from 9:00am to 12:00pm. For children aged 9–11 years, the Seniors class takes place on Saturdays from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
Finally, the Teens class, for individuals aged 11 and above, is held on Sundays from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.
