The Oaks Table Tennis Club

Evenings at The Oaks Table Tennis Club. The club offers coaching for beginners and intermediate players, with sessions led by UKCC qualified coaches who are DBS checked.

Beginners coaching takes place from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, while intermediate coaching follows from 7:30 pm to 8:45 pm. These coaching sessions provide players with the opportunity to improve their skills and techniques under the guidance of experienced coaches.

In addition to coaching, The Oaks Club also competes in various leagues and competitions. The club has teams in all divisions of the South & West Middlesex Table Tennis League and also participates in the National Cadet / Junior Leagues.

The club holds its annual Closed Championships at the end of each season, providing members with the chance to showcase their talents and compete for titles. They also organise an annual Mixed Singles Tournament for players to enjoy friendly matches.

The Oaks Club embraces players of all ages and abilities. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, aged 8 or 80+, you are welcome to join the club. The friendly and sociable atmosphere of the club ensures that everyone feels included and enjoys their table tennis experience.

The club is highly affiliated, being linked to Twyford CofE High School and Acton High School. It is also affiliated to Table Tennis England and Middlesex Table Tennis Association, ensuring that players have access to the best resources and opportunities in the sport.

The club is based at Actonians Sports Association on Gunnersbury Drive in Ealing, London. The facility offers top-of-the-range tables and has a hall availability. The changing facilities, bar, and lounge are all accessible to club members, who also have the opportunity to join other sections for sports such as tennis, badminton, cricket, rugby, football, netball, squash, and cycling.

Getting to The Oaks Club is convenient, with Acton Town (Piccadilly and District) only a 5-minute walk away and Ealing Broadway (Main Line, District and Central) a 20-minute walk away. The E3 bus stops right outside the club in Popes Lane, and there is also parking available for those driving to the facility.
