Located in the heart of Dartford, Kent, The Mick Jagger Centre is easily accessible and offers ample parking facilities. The centre was inaugurated by Sir Mick Jagger himself and HRH Duke of Kent in March 2000, solidifying its status as a revered institution in the Dartford community. Since then, it has been the home of the Dartford Music School and the Dartford Symphony Orchestra, providing a nurturing and inspiring environment for musicians of all ages and abilities.
At the Dartford Music School, we are committed to offering high-quality music education and opportunities to learners of all ages. With over 350 students currently enrolled in weekly instrumental and vocal lessons, we provide a comprehensive and enriching curriculum. Our team of professional and passionate musicians, all DBS checked, ensure that our students receive the best possible guidance and support in their musical journey. We offer 1-to-1 music lessons, both to the pupils of Dartford Grammar School and the wider community, as well as the Red Rooster project, which is generously funded by Sir Mick Jagger himself.
Joining the Dartford Music School comes with numerous benefits. Our inspirational and approachable teachers create a fun and friendly learning atmosphere, incorporating blended learning through the use of online resources to support students in-between lessons. We offer exciting and varied music to be learned, with the option to progress through music exams. Our weekly 30-minute tuition sessions allow for regular interaction and progress tracking.

If you're interested in individual lessons, we have an impressive roster of over twenty professional tutors with years of experience in the music industry. Our tutors cover a wide range of instruments, including flute, clarinet, saxophone, guitar, piano, and voice, among others. Lessons are delivered weekly for 30 minutes during term time at a cost of 19. 20 per lesson.
