Welcome to The Martial Arts Centre in Peterlee, New Zealand! Established in 1990, our martial arts school is led by experienced instructors who specialise in multiple disciplines such as ITF Taekwon-do, WTF Taekwon-do, Kickboxing, Sports Karate, Freestyle, and Weapons.
Over the years, our award-winning classes have produced numerous British, European, and World Champion athletes. We take great pride in our ability to inspire and train individuals of all ages and abilities, helping them achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
At The Martial Arts Centre, we offer a variety of programmes tailored to suit different age groups and interests. Our Little Dragons programme is designed specifically for children aged 3 to 5 years, introducing them to the basics of martial arts in a fun and engaging way.
For older children between the ages of 6 and 11, our Junior Programmes provide a comprehensive training experience that covers a range of techniques and disciplines. This allows them to explore their interests and gain a solid foundation in martial arts.
Adults and cadets aged 12 years and above can join our Adult & Cadet programmes, which include regular weekly classes in Kickboxing and Taekwon-do. These sessions are suitable for individuals of all fitness levels and offer a great opportunity to improve physical health, boost confidence, and learn effective self-defence techniques.
In addition to our martial arts programmes, we also offer fitness-only training for those who are looking to improve their overall fitness and wellbeing. Whether you want to lose weight, tone up, or simply challenge yourself with a new form of exercise, our dedicated instructors are here to guide and support you every step of the way.
