On Moncks Landing golf course. Hole #3 Orchard Hole 3 plays as a short par 4, but accuracy off the tee is paramount. A stand of apple trees guards the left side of the fairway and an ancient limestone wall runs the length of the gully on the right side of the fairway. Keep it straight to have a good chance at par.
Hole #4 The Steeple The first of Moncks Landings three par 3 holes, measuring 190 yards from the back tees, The Steeple offers a beautiful view of the church steeple in Norland. Over three times as long as it is wide, this green is protected by large bunkers left and right. Hole #5 Meandering Ways Hole 5 is the longest hole on the course, Meandering Ways has a slight dogleg right for the tee shot. With water on the left side from the 150 marker to the green, this hole requires two well-struck shots to reach the green in regulation.
Hole #6 Aspen This short par 3 features a beautiful view of the aspen trees and marshlands that border the course. The green is narrow and deep, with a large pot bunker on the right side. The ideal shot is slightly left of centre, leaving an uphill putt toward the hole. Hole #7 Pondview The 7th hole requires a precise tee shot between the trees to set up a good angle to this dogleg left fairway.
Water guards the left side of the fairway landing area, and a well-placed tee shot allows for a short iron approach to the green. Hole #8 Sibbalds Hope Hole 8 at Moncks Landing serves as tribute to one of the area's first settlers. The hole is a par 4 that works its way through a gully and up to a well-bunkered green that slopes from back to front. Hole #9 Sleekit The finishing hole at Moncks Landing, Sleekit offers a fair test of golf.
The green, which slopes severely from back to front, is guarded by a large bunker on the left side. Players will appreciate the challenge and the scenic view of the clubhouse and surrounding countryside as they complete their round.
