Level dancers who want to work on their fundamentals. In this class, participants will learn the basic footwork, connexion, and core moves of Balboa. The class progresses in monthly cycles, building on previously learned material each week. No partner is required as participants will rotate partners frequently during the class.
This class is designed for those who have a solid foundation in Balboa and want to expand their repertoire. Participants will learn more advanced Balboa moves, footwork variations, and styling. The class focuses on improving technique, musicality, and connexion with their dance partners. It is recommended for dancers who have been dancing Balboa for a longer duration and are comfortable with the basic concepts of the dance.
After the classes, participants are welcome to join in the freestyle social dance that lasts until late. This provides an opportunity to practise the moves learned in class, socialise with fellow dancers, and enjoy the lively atmosphere of the Lindy Circle community.
To ensure the safety of everyone, pre-booking and online payment is required for class attendance. This allows for a cashless transaction and helps in limiting the number of attendees to avoid overcrowding. Lateral Flow Testing is no longer mandatory, but it is recommended for those who have had recent potential exposure to COVID-19.
