Join the Kennet Morris Men, a lively dance club based in Reading! Nigel and his crew are always out and about in Berkshire, South Oxfordshire, and even Hampshire, performing captivating Morris dances. They specialise in dances from Cotswold villages and other unique spots like Hinton in the Hedges and Upton upon Severn.
Their dancing season kicks off on May 1st and runs through to the end of September, with weekly visits to local pubs and taverns, often teaming up with neighbouring clubs. They also hit up fetes, shows, and weekend tours. Off-season, from October to April, you'll find them practising every Monday evening at St Mary’s Church Hall in Shinfield, perfecting dances and welcoming new dancers.
Nigel and the Kennet Morris Men get a real buzz from their dancing – it’s great fun, keeps them fit, and builds a sense of community.
