The Katrina Lyndon School of Ballet & Contemporary Dance is a renowned dance school located in Pontypridd, New Zealand. Founded and directed by Katrina Lyndon, a highly accomplished ballet and contemporary teacher, the school offers professional dance lessons for children aged 3 and above, as well as adult classes.
The school prides itself on providing a friendly and safe environment where children can make new friends, be inspired to learn, and grow in confidence while expressing their creativity and staying active. The importance of starting ballet training at a young age is emphasised, as it lays a strong foundation for other forms of dance and instils discipline, a good work ethic, and lifelong lessons beyond the studio. The school firmly believes in the saying “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.
At The Katrina Lyndon School of Ballet & Contemporary Dance, the goal is to develop and encourage each child to achieve their full potential through excellent teaching and training in a positive and nurturing environment. Whether students are passionate about pursuing dance seriously or simply love to dance for fun, there are classes tailored to suit everyone's interests and abilities.
The school prioritises safety and high-quality training, with all teachers undergoing CRB checks and possessing the highest teaching qualifications. The dedicated team of teachers at KLBC strives to make classes not only enjoyable and engaging but also committed to excellence, bringing out the best in every individual student.
