The Goode School of Dance

The Goode School of Dance, founded in 1989 by Rachel Goode, is a prestigious dance school located in Dalkey. Specialising in Classical Ballet and Modern Theatre Jazz, students as young as 3 years old are welcomed into a friendly and nurturing environment that encourages good posture, confidence, musicality, creativity, and a love of dance.

The school offers a variety of classes including Ballet, Jazz, and Hip-Hop for boys, catering to dancers of all ages and levels. Students have the opportunity to showcase their talents in various performances, with highlights being performances such as 'Sleeping Beauty' at The Helix Theatre.

In addition to regular classes, The Goode School of Dance hosts a popular Summer School held in July and August, culminating in a thrilling finale show. Younger students enjoy a week filled with arts and crafts and games, while senior students partake in an intensive programme that includes dance training, fitness, Pilates, anatomy and history theory, and nutrition sessions.
