Stephen Rennie invites sports enthusiasts to experience The Forfar Golf Driving Range, a premier facility on the outskirts of Forfar, Angus. The range features 13 floodlit indoor bays, making it possible for golfers to practise no matter the weather. Spanning 300 yards with target greens and bunkers, it provides a thorough practice environment, complemented by high-quality mats and balls to hone skills.
Beyond the range, there is The Range Coffee Shop, open daily from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. It offers a range of refreshments from coffee and homemade baked goods to hearty lunches, ensuring visitors can refuel between sessions.
Safety remains a priority, with hand sanitisers available throughout and adherence to social distancing encouraged. Free parking is also provided.
Operating hours vary by season. Currently, the range opens from Monday to Wednesday, and Friday to Sunday, between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, extended hours from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm allow for evening practice under the floodlights. The last balls are dispensed 30 minutes before closing.
The pricing structure is straightforward: 15 balls for £1, with payment in £1 coins, or a 10-basket card for £30, each containing 50 balls.
