Welcome to The Dream Academy of Dancing, a leading dance school in Leicester that has been dedicated to providing a comprehensive programme for young dancers since 1993. With our recent celebration of our 29th year, we are proud to offer classes in singing and dancing for students aged 3 years and upwards.
Our dance school is located in Thurnby Lodge, Leicester and is committed to creating a fun and friendly environment where students can have fun, make new friendships, and build confidence and self-esteem. We believe in the importance of staying fit and improving posture, coordination, creativity, and musicality through our dance classes.
At The Dream Academy, we understand the value of performance, which is why our students have the opportunity to work on performance pieces for our annual show, as well as participate in competitions and exams held throughout the year. We are affiliated with the I. D. T.
A and our students undertake their exams, which provide a platform for growth and recognition of their hard work and talent. Our students have earned many medals and trophies through their outstanding performances.
In addition to local performances, we also offer our students exciting opportunities to perform at prestigious venues such as the West End. In fact, our students had the opportunity to perform in the West End in December 2015, showcasing their skills and talents to a wider audience. They also had the privilege of performing in Salou, Spain in 2019, and we are currently planning a London performance for our 30th anniversary in 2024.
We take great pride in our dance school community, often referred to as the Dream Team, where everyone, including parents, grandparents, and guardians, are part of our close-knit family. We believe in bringing out each student's strengths and helping them shine like the little stars they are. Our dedicated team, led by Miss Lisa, is passionate about nurturing each student's individual talents and providing them with the guidance needed to excel in their dance journey.

Miss Lisa and her team focus on bringing out each girl's (or possibly boy's) strengths and helping them shine like the little stars they are. The Dream Team is a little family, and all the mums, dads, grandparents, etc. , are part of that too.
