The Dance Factory is an established dance and performing arts studio located in Desford, Leicestershire. Since 2006, they have been proudly delivering children's and adult dance classes. The beautiful dance home at The Studio offers dancers a professional, inspiring, and creative space to train in.
The Dance Factory Studio has an exceptional faculty registered with the world's leading dance societies, ensuring safe and professional practise. They welcome dancers of all ages, starting from 2 years old for their core children's school and 18+ for their adult dance school, Adult Dance by DF.
They offer a wide range of dance styles including RAD Classical Ballet, ISTD & IDTA Tap Dance, ISTD Modern Dance, Acro Dance, Pre Ponte Work, Pointe Work, IDTA Theatre Craft, IDTA Freestyle, Commercial Jazz, Technical Jazz, Contemporary, Stretch Class, Alixa Flexibility, and PBT Ballet.
Termly dance examinations with the RAD, ISTD, and IDTA are offered, and bi-annually, the school showcases its talent at The Concordia Theatre. The Dance Factory also has an elite competitive team, private coaching, vocational training preparation, guest masterclasses, and social events.
The principal of The Dance Factory is Fay Masterman, who is registered with RAD RTS, ISTD DDE, AIDTA, and PBT Cert.

In addition to children's classes, The Dance Factory Studio offers Adult Dance by DF, providing a welcoming, creative, safe, and fun atmosphere for adult dancers to participate in Ballet, Jazz, and Tap classes. These classes are held at their bespoke studios in Desford. Classes can be pre-booked on their website.
