At City Dance Academy, students can immerse themselves in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz & Lyrical, Street Jazz, and Acro. Whether dancing is a hobby or you’re aiming for graded examinations, Kika and her team provide quality instruction following the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) syllabus, ensuring high training standards.
Throughout the year, specialised workshop classes are held to help students enhance their skills in specific dance styles or techniques. Additionally, students have the chance to participate in competitions and performances, including the acclaimed 'Showtime' production held in a West End theatre every three years.
Under the guidance of Kika Macdonald and her team of qualified teachers and performers, the academy fosters a nurturing and supportive environment. This dedication has led many students to gain entry into prestigious performing arts institutions, with notable alumni including Bonnie Wright, Leona Lewis, and Ella Purnell.
