Sam, the organiser, would like to welcome you to Barnes & Mortlake Angling & Preservation Society (BMAPS). This friendly club offers top-notch fishing spots across Southwest London. BMAPS has been going for over 70 years and is entirely run by a dedicated team of volunteers forming the Management Committee.
BMAPS is proud of its waters, ensuring members access some of the best fishing lakes in London. There are four lakes available in South West London, including The Copse Pool in Barnes, Thames Young Mariners, and Potomac Lake. These spots offer both Carp and Course fishing.
Membership at BMAPS is open and they love welcoming new faces. Whether you're a seasoned angler or just getting started, the club offers a social setting for everyone to enjoy fishing and improve their skills. Joining or renewing your membership is a breeze, just head to the club's website.
Members can also buy guest tickets to bring along non-members for a day of fishing—just ask a committee member for the details.
The club shop stocks all sorts, from beanies to winter jackets, so you can show off the club logo proudly.
Throughout the year, BMAPS organises various matches, providing some friendly competition. Check the full fixture list under the Matches section on the website.
Keep up with the latest club news in the BMAPS Club News section. Here, you’ll find updates on fundraising events, new memberships, and more. The website also has a gallery featuring member catches and club activities.
If you've got any questions or want to know more about the club or membership, feel free to reach out to the Management Committee. You can find all contact details, including address, phone number, and email, on the website.
Sam and the team at BMAPS are committed to a welcoming and inclusive environment for all anglers. They follow strict privacy policies to keep member information safe.
