Pursue a career in ballet. She completed her teacher training in London and established her own school, The Ballet Barn, in Carlow. Aedeen is passionate about teaching ballet and passing on her knowledge and love for the art form to her students.
The Ballet Barn is a warm and welcoming environment where students of all ages and abilities can learn and grow. Classes are structured to cater to each individual student's needs and progression, with a focus on technique, discipline, and artistry. The school prides itself on its supportive and nurturing atmosphere, where students can develop confidence, creativity, and a love for dance.
The Ballet Barn offers a range of classes for both ballet and modern theatre dance, from beginners to advanced levels. Students have the opportunity to participate in Royal Academy of Dance graded and vocational examinations, as well as ISTD modern dance examinations and medal awards. The school also organises a biennial show, where students can showcase their talent and hard work to friends and family.
Located in the picturesque setting of One Rose Cottage in Kilmeany, County Carlow, The Ballet Barn is easily accessible and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Classes are held throughout the week, including Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, commencing early September.
