The Athletic Centre

Club (KWSC) is a figure skating and power skating club in Waterloo. Our training facility, The Athletic Centre, is a 5000ft2 fitness centre located inside the Carolyn Fedy Skating Centre within the Manulife Sportsplex and Healthy Living Centre at RIM Park. We offer fitness memberships and personal training services to the public, as well as elite athletic conditioning and sport-team training.

The Athletic Centre at RIM Park provides a fully equipped fitness facility that offers off-ice conditioning, training services, and assessments for skaters. Our certified and experienced staff work with young athletes, providing personal training, team training, and fitness training services to the public. Day passes, as well as seasonal and annual memberships, are available for individuals and groups.

There are no signup fees or hidden costs at The Athletic Centre. We offer reduced membership rates for parents of skaters enrolled in KWSC programs, as well as individuals and groups affiliated with the City of Waterloo, Waterloo Sports Medicine, and Waterloo Minor Soccer. Skater classes are held weekly, with over 16 off-ice training classes available for skaters of the KW Skating Club.

The Athletic Centre is also home to The Rotation Room, a partner facility that offers additional training services. Regular news and events are posted on our website and social media channels, keeping members up-to-date with the latest information. Registration for learn-to-skate, power skating, and figure skating programs is available year-round.
