The African Angler specialises exclusively in Lake Nasser fishing trips and has been pioneering small boat safaris on the lake since 1993. Our safari experience is similar to a traditional African safari, where 4×4 vehicles are replaced by House Boats and well-appointed Mother Ships. You'll spend your days fishing for massive Nile perch or exploring the picturesque desert lake in your own live-aboard boat. At lunchtime and for overnight stopovers, you'll meet up with your Mother Ship where you can enjoy meals and drinks in a relaxing social environment.

If you're interested in the great outdoors, our Lake Nasser Experience is a must-try. You'll have the opportunity to explore the lake's ecosystem from a House Boat, getting up close to spectacular bird and wildlife. It's like visiting a game park, where you can enjoy easy walks and take memorable photographs while being catered to by our team of Nubian safari staff and guides, many of whom have been with us for more than 17 years.

For avid anglers, Lake Nasser is famous for its huge Nile perch, and there's also the thrilling chance to target the hard-fighting Tiger fish or go night ledgering for the big Vundu and Bagrus catfish.
