The Jazz Cellar, a vibrant Contemporary Dance club situated in Mount Hawthorn, is pleased to offer its space for private hire alongside the talented Corner House Jazz Band. Planning an event? Look no further! Except, of course, on Fridays when the Jazz Cellar is abuzz with its regular evening gig, or Saturdays when the band graces the stage at the Railway Hotel in North Fremantle.
Please note that while the Jazz Cellar does not possess a license to sell food or alcohol, guests have the freedom to bring their own or even arrange for catering services. We've got you covered with a covered area right next to the cellar that can be utilised for food preparation purposes. Although it may not resemble a fully equipped kitchen, rest assured it does have convenient bench areas where everything can be set up.
Let it be known that the Jazz Cellar has played host to a wide range of events, including joyful birthday parties, heartfelt leaving parties, spirited coming home parties, festive Christmas parties, professional company events, unforgettable Barmitzvahs, enchanting weddings, and memorable receptions. Our venue boasts an official capacity of 100 people (excluding the band), but for a more relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for dancing and mingling, we recommend around 70 guests. To create an inviting dance floor, we are more than happy to remove and store three of the centre tables and their accompanying chairs in our convenient ramp. Additionally, any extra tables can serve as delightful serving stations for your delectable food.
