Experience the magic of surfing during the early and late hours with Joe at Westcountry Surf School. These classes cater to surfers of all levels and disciplines. Please note that sessions are held partially outside Lifeguarded hours, but Joe, a fully trained and qualified Emergency Medical Technician, ensures your safety. Participants must be 16 years or older, unless accompanied by a participating adult. Classes are available daily from Monday to Friday and cost £40 per person.
Make sure to arrive at least half an hour before the class starts and don't forget to bring a towel and a full water bottle. Wetsuits and boards will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Keep in mind that lockable waters edge storage is available for your keys or phone, but space is limited and at your own risk. The session includes check-in, a 5-minute walk to the beach, an introduction, a yoga-inspired and surf-relevant warm-up, one, and a half hours of water time, and a debrief.
Joe, the experienced instructor at Westcountry Surf School, has over 35 years of surfing experience and has been coaching since 2002. With a diverse background in lifeguarding, surf school ownership, contest surfing, surf industry work, big wave surfing, and commercial saturation diving, Joe brings a wealth of knowledge to every lesson. He is passionate about the ocean and has traveled worldwide to pursue various ocean-related disciplines.
