Experience The Dunes Golf Links at its finest with The Dunes Titleist Tombstone Challenge. Now in its 24th year, this event is a must for golfers in the Mornington Peninsula Shire. With its classic links layout, The Dunes offers a challenging course that will test golfers of all skill levels.
Thanks to our generous sponsors including Titleist, Footjoy, Wilson, Puma, Under Armour, St Andrews Brewery, and Drummond Golf Frankston, competitors have the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes. We are grateful for their support in making this event even more exciting.
To join in the fun, any golfer with an official handicap can enter the challenge for just $6.00 in addition to the green fee. If you shoot a nett 69 or score 39 points or better, you'll receive a cap courtesy of Titleist. Plus, every participant will receive a Tombstone Challenge Titleist ProV1 or Duo Ball Marker to commemorate their experience.
Throughout the year, we will be awarding monthly prizes for 1st to 5th place based on the order of merit. Make sure to stay updated on the results as you may have a chance to earn some accolades before the big playoffs. Speaking of playoffs, mark your calendars for the first Tuesday in December when the top 32 players in the year's order of merit will battle it out to determine the Tombstone Champion for 2024.
Don't worry about missing out on the latest order of merit results. We will regularly update the standings from January to November, and you can easily download them from our website. And remember, December is when we will hold the much-anticipated play-off to crown the 2023 Tombstone Challenge Champion.
