Oceanpaddler is excited to announce the upcoming Shaw and Partners Doctor event, a thrilling ocean paddling race from Rottnest Island to Sorrento Beach. This iconic race offers paddlers the chance to navigate through challenging ocean conditions, testing their skills and endurance.
Taking place on Saturday, November 30th, 2024, paddlers will face the fast-moving ocean chop and the afternoon South West wind as they make their way towards the finish line. The race lasts for over 90 minutes, with paddlers focusing on riding the surfable chop towards the Centaur Marker.
Competitors must check-in on Rottnest Island by 10am on the day of the event, and they are responsible for arranging their craft transport to the island.
