Welcome to Tewkesbury Horse Riding School, located in the scenic Gloucestershire countryside just minutes away from the historic market town of Tewkesbury. Tewkesbury Riding School is a small and friendly establishment that prides itself on reliability, friendliness, and providing opportunities for riders of all levels.

Under the ownership of Keith Hill and Jo Bowen since 2009, Tewkesbury Riding School offers a range of horses and ponies to suit every rider's needs. You can enjoy both indoor and outdoor riding experiences in our well-maintained arenas.

In addition to our regular riding school services, we are also a Pony Club Centre, organising meets every month. We also hold an annual camp week during the summer months, providing riders with an immersive equestrian experience.

Whether you are a nervous beginner or an advanced rider, our experienced team is here to cater to your needs. We believe in creating a fun and supportive atmosphere for all riders to feel comfortable in.

For those looking to hire facilities, we have an indoor arena available for small clinics and an outdoor menage with an all-weather surface that is floodlit. We also provide show jumps for hire, including jumps up to 3'3” in height and a pair of 5ft wings.

Tewkesbury Riding School boasts additional facilities such as a small classroom that can accommodate up to 15 pupils, often used for teaching during Pony Club events. We also offer hat, body protector, and boot hire, with fitting services available at our reception.

Our team at Tewkesbury Riding School is led by Jo Bowen, our manager and BHSPTT instructor. With her extensive experience in management and training, as well as her qualifications in instruction, Jo ensures that the yard and its residents are well taken care of. Jo also offers teaching in Horsemastership during Pony Club meets and has experience in judging show classes.

We are also fortunate to have Sam Goss on board as a freelance BHSI instructor. With her wealth of teaching experience and knowledge of horses, Sam can cater to riders of all levels, from beginners to advanced. Her training and accomplishments in eventing, dressage, and show jumping make her a valuable addition to our team.
