Ingleburn Tennis Club, based in Macquarie Fields, is excited to promote the Tennis Australia Social Tennis event happening every week. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, this local activity is the perfect opportunity to get involved in the sport and have a great time.
Taking place on Tuesday nights from 6.00pm, Wednesday nights from 7pm, and Saturday afternoons from 1.30pm, Tennis Australia Social Tennis welcomes new players with open arms. Not only will you have the chance to improve your skills, but you'll also have the opportunity to meet new friends and get fit in the process.
The format of this activity is doubles, meaning you can grab a partner and take on the court together. Each court consists of two pairs, who will play a total of eight games with two serves each. To keep things moving along, we usually play short deuce to speed up the sets. And don't worry if you don't have a regular partner – there's a rotation of partners at the end of each set, so you'll get to play with different team members throughout the event.
To make things even better, the cost to participate in this fun-filled session is incredibly affordable. For members of Ingleburn Tennis Club, the fee is just $9.00 per session. Non-members are also welcome to join in the fun, with a cost of $12.00 per session. And to ensure each session is played with high-quality equipment, new balls are provided at every session.
Throughout the year, we also host a number of exciting tournaments that add a little extra competition to our regular sessions. One of these tournaments is the annual ITC Anniversary Tournament, held in November. It's a chance for players to showcase their skills and compete against others in a lively and spirited atmosphere.
