The Tendring Volleyball Club, located in Frinton-on-Sea, is a thriving adult club with a strong presence in both the National Volleyball League (NVL) and the Essex Volleyball League (EVL). With a history dating back to 1991, the club was originally established as a junior programme catering to all age groups. Since then, it has grown into a dynamic and competitive adult club.
The club boasts an impressive roster of teams, including four teams competing in the NVL, three teams in the EVL, and a robust junior programme. Tendring Volleyball Club is proud to have one of the longest-running junior programmes in the Eastern region, fostering the growth and development of young athletes in the sport.
At Tendring Volleyball Club, players of all ages and abilities are welcome. Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned athlete, there is a place for you on the team. TVC is particularly known for its strong link with Tendring Technology College, which has entered the World Schools Championships and has represented England on multiple occasions. The college team serves as a host for the club and offers excellent facilities for training and competitions.
