Teignmouth Lido is a picturesque outdoor swimming pool situated in the charming seaside town of Teignmouth, Devon. The pool, which measures 25 metres in length, is heated and offers a range of swimming activities for visitors to enjoy. It is open from May to September annually.

Teignmouth Lido offers a wide range of activities suitable for visitors of all ages. Whether you prefer a leisurely swim or want to have fun with your family, there is something for everyone. The activities are available on the Teignbridge Leisure App or can be viewed on the provided timetable. Note that some areas on the timetable may be greyed out, indicating pool closures due to swimming lessons, schools, or private hire groups.

Visitors can enjoy “fun swim” sessions, which last for two hours. To maximise your session, please arrive at 11 am, 1 pm, or 3 pm. The timetable will indicate the availability of each session. Please be informed that there are currently no activities available.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, experienced lifeguards are on duty at all times. This allows visitors to relax and take in the stunning views of the surrounding sea as they swim in the beautiful outdoor pool.

Supervision for children is strictly enforced. A responsible adult over the age of 16 may accompany two children under the age of eight, but only one of those children can be under five. The adult must be in the water with the children at all times.

Teignmouth Lido operates as a card-only facility, and no cash payments are accepted. Opening hours and admission prices vary depending on the type of activity. Visitors are encouraged to refer to the provided timetable or download the Teignbridge Leisure app for detailed session times. Individual sessions can be paid for on arrival, or visitors may opt to purchase a swim pass for all-day swimming.
