Teenagers aged 11-13 in Darwin and Palmerston are invited to join the NT Tang Soo Do Karate program. The program, held at Woodroffe Primary School in Palmerston, offers classes on Mondays and Fridays from 5.00pm to 6.00pm, as well as on Wednesdays from 4.30pm to 5.30pm.
At NT Tang Soo Do Karate Academy, young people have the opportunity to be a part of a morally strong and stable environment where they will learn respect for themselves and others. With over twenty years of experience, our academy has been instrumental in developing leaders and role models within the community.
For troubled teens, our academy has become a safe haven. They receive positive guidance and mentorship during a crucial time in their lives. It's truly remarkable to witness their growth, as many go on to become outstanding young adults and black belt instructors. They, in turn, pass on the morals and values they have learned to others.
Through the NT Tang Soo Do program, teenagers will gain important life skills. They will learn about responsibility, making informed choices, integrity, and maintaining self-confidence. Our curriculum covers a range of topics, including basic movements, kicks, new techniques, breaking, karate forms, self-defence, discipline, and much more.
Joining our program also offers an opportunity for teenagers to make new friends and experience a sense of achievement. It's not just about learning the art of Tang Soo Do, but also about fostering a supportive and inclusive community.
