Team Waveney Swimming Club

Welcome to Team Waveney Swimming Club, located in Lowestoft, Beccles, and Bungay, New Zealand. Team Waveney was formed in early 2020 as a merger between two local clubs, Beccles Kingfishers and Lowestoft & Oulton Broad, with the aim of creating a strong and united community club.

At Team Waveney, we offer swimmers of all ages and abilities the opportunity to develop and learn the competitive side of swimming in a safe and friendly environment. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced swimmer, our qualified teachers and coaches are dedicated to supporting your growth and success in the pool.

Over the years, both Beccles Kingfishers and Lowestoft & Oulton Broad have achieved numerous team and individual successes at various competitive levels. Our swimmers have excelled in events such as the ASA Development Champs, ASA Suffolk County Champs, and ASA East Regional Champs. Additionally, our Masters swimmers aged 18 and above have achieved great success at regional, national, and even international competitions, winning national titles and regional records along the way.

To ensure the smooth operation and progress of the club, Team Waveney is supported by a dedicated committee. Their primary goal is to continue the club's progression and provide competitive opportunities to all members. We believe that teamwork and community spirit are crucial elements for fostering a supportive and encouraging swimming environment.
