Team Mayhem

Team Mayhem is a well-established martial arts school located in Staines, New Zealand, offering a range of disciplines including Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Mixed Martial Arts, Boxing, and Wrestling. Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned professional, Team Mayhem welcomes individuals of all skill levels.

The dedicated instructors at Team Mayhem have experience in training both recreational practitioners and championship-level athletes. Currently, the school offers three classes per week. On Monday nights, there is a No Gi submission grappling/Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class from 8pm to 9pm, instructed by Rory Palmer. Wednesday nights feature Thai boxing and boxing from 6pm to 7pm, also instructed by Rory Palmer. Additionally, on Friday nights, there is an invite-only sparring session for boxing and kickboxing at Fresh Gym in Shepperton, led by head coach Matt “Power Jab” Parker.

For those seeking a more personalised approach, Team Mayhem offers small group private classes and one-on-one sessions with Rory Palmer, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt with over 20 years of experience. This option provides a fast track to achieving your desired level in mixed martial arts.

While MMA is a demanding sport that pushes participants to their limits, Team Mayhem believes that training should also be enjoyable. The school fosters a sense of camaraderie and encourages banter among its members, creating a positive and motivating atmosphere.

Classes at Team Mayhem are priced at 10 per session, and the first class is offered free of charge. Safety is a priority, and members can expect to train in a secure environment that promotes learning and fun. The school is located at Mathew Arnold Sports Centre in Staines, behind Mathew Arnold School.
