Tarland Golf Club, nestled in Aboyne, offers a cracking 9-hole parkland course crafted by Tom Morris way back in 1908. It’s a friendly spot where golfers of all levels can have a brilliant time. With a standard scratch score of 70 for both blokes and ladies, the 6062-yard course will keep you on your toes. The peaceful setting and lovely scenery make it a top-notch experience for everyone.
Players can book tee times at any point throughout the day in groups of four. If you’re visiting, you'll need to book and pay online – no payments at the club, folks! Members can bring guests and either use the online system or pop their money in the honesty box at the club.
Good news – the refurbished clubhouse is opening on Saturday, 24th June, with food from Tarland Tearooms. The clubhouse also has loo facilities that are open for use.
Tarland Golf Club runs three Open Competitions each year. There’s a Texas Scramble on 8th July, a Senior Stableford Open on 4th August, and another Texas Scramble on 7th October. You can book for these competitions online. Check out past results in the News section of the Members Menu.
