Sammy Robinson runs Tappy Toes in Brentwood, Hornchurch, and Upminster and she’s absolutely chuffed to meet all the little ones and their grown-ups in her dance classes.
Sammy’s got a fantastic background in dance, and you'll feel that energy the moment you walk into her classes. Growing up in the Norfolk countryside, she was always dancing, acting, and singing her heart out. After high school, she headed to Essex University, made some lifelong mates, and met her husband, Marc.
Before diving into Tappy Toes, Sammy was a Teaching Assistant and then found her groove in Early Years education with a PGCE under her belt. It was a sleepless night with her youngest that led her to stumble upon Tappy Toes, and she was hooked. Combining her love for dance and teaching young kids felt like the perfect match.
Sammy's classes offer more than just a chance to dance. They're fantastic for developing social skills, imagination, coordination, and posture. They give kids and parents a chance to spend quality time together, have some fun, and stay active. Sammy’s adamant about creating a positive and nurturing environment where kids can flourish.
The classes are designed for youngsters aged 6 months to 5 years, featuring age-appropriate activities and lively music. You can book for a full term or take a three-week trial if you’re just dipping your toe in. Sign up for the full term and you'll get a Tappy Toes T-shirt included in the registration fee.
