TAKE THIS began creating dance pieces and has since become an integral part of Tan Dance's diverse capacity initiatives.
One of Tan Dance's notable initiatives is the Dragon Hearts & Dragon Souls company, which was founded in 2014 and funded by a People Dancing Commission from The Foundation for Community Dance and Arts Council Wales. Through this programme, TAN Dance's diverse capacity team, consisting of Carol Brown, Cathy Coombs, and Leila Bebb, underwent a mentoring programme with Onil Vizcaino, an expert in dance for learning disabled people. This training has empowered the dancers to improve their dance knowledge and technique, and perform without the support of volunteers on stage.
