Welcome to Tamworth Indoor/Outdoor Bowls Club, located in Tamworth, Staffordshire. Our club offers excellent all year round indoor bowling and social facilities to approximately 400 members. Regardless of ability, experience, and age, all are welcome to come and try out this popular sport at one of the best facilities in the UK.
Our club features six rinks, providing ample space for members to enjoy the game. For those who prefer to watch, we have a dedicated spectating area. We also offer changing room facilities and lockers for your convenience. After a game, members can relax and socialise at our bar and catering facilities.
Parking is not an issue at Tamworth Indoor/Outdoor Bowls Club, as we provide ample free parking for our members. We prioritise the comfort and needs of our members, ensuring a pleasant and enjoyable experience every time they visit.
Tamworth Indoor/Outdoor Bowls Club was founded in 1989 and is the only indoor bowls club in Staffordshire. Unfortunately, the club experienced a devastating fire in February 1990. However, the club was completely rebuilt and reopened in September 1990, symbolised by the presence of a Phoenix in our club logo. This symbolises our resilience and determination to provide the best bowling experience to our members.
We aim to offer a vibrant and active club experience for our members. Coaching sessions are available for those who wish to improve their skills, and we regularly organise competitions to keep the spirit of friendly competition alive. Our club officials ensure smooth operations and uphold the highest standards of fairness and sportsmanship.
We value the welfare and safety of our members. With a designated welfare and safeguarding team, we strive to create a welcoming and secure environment for everyone involved.
