About
Collingwood Dock Swimming Club is excited to promote the upcoming Tal Y Llyn SWIMRUN event in Snowdonia National Park. This race is perfect for swimmers and runners of all abilities, with a total distance of 9.8 km of running and 2 km of swimming.
Participants can take advantage of early bird entries for the event, which will be based at Cadair Tearoom in the peaceful Dol Idris Nature Reserve. Camping options are available at Dol Einion Campsite, or for those looking for a bit more comfort, the Tyn Y Cornel Hotel is a great choice.
The race route features some challenging ascents and descents, so be sure to come prepared. Exciting route changes are planned for 2023, promising an even more beautiful and thrilling experience.
Both solo and team entries are welcome, and there is no cut off time for the route. Check out a review of the 2022 race on the event website to get a taste of what to expect.
