Taiji Circle Lucky Dragon

Taiji Circle Lucky Dragon is the official Chen Village Tai Chi school in the UK, led by Master Liu Quanjun. He is a disciple of Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang, the 19th generation heir of the Chen family dynasty, from which the modern practise of Tai Chi originated. Shifu Liu has trained since childhood with some leading masters in the world in traditional Chinese martial arts and qi gong (chi kung), and has been teaching since 1991. He is also a practitioner of Chinese medicine, specialising in Tui Na (Chinese massage), Dian Xue (acupuncture point massage), qi gong healing, and martial arts therapy.

At Taiji Circle Lucky Dragon, Shifu Liu offers a mix of in-venue, online, and private one-to-one tuition in Chen style Tai Ji, as well as Da Bei Qi Gong – a meditative practise steeped in Buddhist tradition with an emphasis on healing, energy cultivation, and compassion. In addition, Shifu Liu runs a specialist course in hard Qi Gong (“steel jacket”) training.

Shifu Liu is also an experienced practitioner of Chinese medicine and specialises in herbal remedies, Acupuncture, Tui Na (Chinese massage), Dian Xue (acupuncture point massage), qi gong healing, and martial arts therapy. Tui Na is a type of deep massage that uses various hand movements to stimulate the tissues and energy circulation, bringing increased blood flow to problem areas of the body. Dian Xue is Chinese pressure point therapy applied along important acupuncture meridians, working directly on the organs, releasing energy blockages, and helping to rebalance the body. The effects are similar to acupuncture but without the use of needles.
