Tai Chi Chuan with Judy Lorraine: A Premier Tai Chi School in Edenbridge, Kent
Judy Lorraine, a seasoned instructor from the Master John Ding Academy in London, brings over two decades of Tai Chi Chuan expertise to her school in Edenbridge, Kent. Practising since 1997 and teaching since 2000, Judy offers comprehensive classes for all skill levels - from beginners to advanced practitioners.
Tai Chi Chuan, a martial art focusing on balancing the mind, body, and soul, is especially beneficial during times of illness and stress. Judy's classes include Chi Gung breathing exercises, Standing Chi Gung, stretching exercises, and the Tai Chi Foundation form of Master John Ding. Advanced students can learn the Traditional Long Form, with posture testing and application of moves being integral parts of the curriculum. This practice improves internal energy flow, benefiting the body's organs, blood, bones, and lymphatic system.
Classes are held every Wednesday at the W I Hall in Edenbridge. Beginners' sessions run from 7:00-8:00 pm, followed by classes for experienced students from 8:00-9:00 pm. Attendees are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes early for a cup of Jasmine Tea. For a comfortable practice, participants should wear flat shoes or slippers and comfortable clothing.
Beyond Tai Chi, Judy Lorraine is a versatile instructor, offering lessons in piano, bassoon, theory, sound therapy, and Reiki healing. With over 30 years of teaching experience, her lessons cater to both adults and children, from prep test to grade 8 exams, or those simply wanting to learn their favourite piece.
