Skills. With over 22 years of experience, our schools have been a trusted source of martial arts education in the South Wales Valleys.

As an affiliated school with the International Taekwon-Do Federation HQ Korea, we ensure that our instructors are knowledgeable and skilled in teaching this dynamic martial art. Our team consists of 7 DBS registered instructors who are passionate, happy, and motivated to make learning Taekwon-do fun for all our students.

We believe in putting the students first and strive to create a positive and supportive environment for their growth. Our fantastic junior classes cater to children aged 4 to 6, introducing them to the basics of Taekwon-do through enjoyable and engaging activities.

For older children between the ages of 7 to 11, we offer a range of junior classes throughout the week. These classes provide a great opportunity for children to develop discipline, focus, and physical fitness as they progress through the ranks.

We also understand the importance of providing specialised classes to cater to the unique needs of our students. That is why we offer girl teens and ladies-only classes, creating a safe and empowering space for women to learn and train. These classes are taught exclusively by female instructors, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment.

Additionally, Taekwon-do Wales operates a Black Belt Academy, providing a great aim for all our students. Achieving a black belt is not only a significant accomplishment but also a testament to the dedication and hard work of our students.

Our dedication to our students' well-being extends beyond the physical aspects of Taekwon-do. We believe that martial arts can improve mental well-being, discipline, and confidence. By promoting a healthy lifestyle, we encourage our students to develop a positive mindset and build resilience.

With eight schools and after-school clubs, we have a wide reach across South Wales and the Valleys. Our aim is to make Taekwon-do accessible to as many individuals as possible, fostering a community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for martial arts.
