At Sun Bae, both children and adults can immerse themselves in the art of Taekwondo. Our children's classes are tailored for young martial artists aged 4-5 (Cubs) and 5-11 (Tigers). These classes not only teach the fundamentals of Taekwondo and Hapkido but also empower kids with essential self-defence skills, awareness of “stranger danger,” and knowledge about street safety. Led by experienced instructors, our classes instil core values such as discipline, integrity, and character while promoting confidence, courage, perseverance, courtesy, and respect.
Convenience is key, which is why Sun Bae offers multiple locations throughout Brisbane, including Toowoomba. This ensures easy access to our classes for families seeking quality martial arts training. Our children's class times vary across centres, generally beginning at 5:30 PM. Moreover, we continue to operate during school holidays, ensuring a consistent learning experience for children to stay engaged and progress in their training. Families even have the option to attend evening or mixed classes, enabling them to train together and strengthen the bond between parents and children.
In addition to our regular classes, children can also participate in our sword sparring classes, adding a new element of fun and excitement. Using soft foam swords and protective gear, these classes offer a safe environment for children to improve their overall health, fitness, and strength, while honing their martial arts abilities.
Our adult classes cater to both men and women aged 12 and above. Each lesson is thoughtfully designed to include a variety of activities, ranging from warm-up exercises and Taekwondo-specific stretching to balance and coordination exercises. The art of Taekwondo & Hapkido is thoroughly explored, and the best part is, no previous experience or specific fitness level is required.
