Taebaek School Of Taekwondo, now known as TBK Taekwondo Black Belt School, has been serving the community of Oldham for 30 years. Led by owners Gary Mallam and Graham Naylor, both Kukkiwon Registered Master Grades, along with Lalena Naylor and Master Grade Black Belt Instructor Claire Bardsley, the school is dedicated to providing martial arts, fitness, and education programmes for all ages, ranging from 4 to 70 years old.

The school has become one of the largest and most successful martial arts schools in Oldham, thanks to its exceptional teaching and training methods. The premises are welcoming, spacious, and filled with natural light, creating a positive and energising environment for students.

At TBK Taekwondo Black Belt School, they believe in providing more than just physical training. Their mission is to make their students more successful in life by teaching Taekwondo as a complete discipline, encompassing mind, body, and spirit. The school offers a variety of classes tailored to different age groups. The “Little Ninjas” class is designed for children aged 4 to 6 years old, focusing on developing coordination, balance, and listening skills. The “Juniors” class, for ages 6 to 9, introduces more advanced techniques while still emphasising discipline and respect. The “Masters” class is for students aged 8 and older, focusing on intense training and preparation for higher-level black belt exams.

Finally, the “Adults” class is for individuals aged 13 to 70 years old, providing a challenging and rewarding experience for all fitness levels.

If you're travelling on Middleton Road, you can find them just 25 metres from the main traffic lights by taking the first left turn into Shepherd Street. The school's first-floor entrance is on the left-hand side.
