Synergy BJJ MMA Academy Singapore is the official organiser of ADCC Southeast Asia Events, specialising in No Gi Jiujitsu, a grappling style that has led to the popularity of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). At our academy, students are challenged to think fast and adapt quickly without the use of grips that are present in traditional gi training. This style of Jiujitsu places a strong emphasis on street self-defence techniques, preparing students for real-life situations.

In addition to our No Gi Jiujitsu programme, we also offer Gi training which focuses on developing sound defensive techniques and understanding the principles of escaping and submission defence. Our instructors guide students in applying the fundamentals of BJJ without relying on grips or strength, creating a well-rounded skill set.

For our younger practitioners, we offer Kids BJJ classes in a safe and enjoyable environment, teaching them the same fundamental techniques as our adult classes. These classes are tailored for ages 7-15, with training partners matched within the same age group.

Our head instructor, Shinya Kakita, is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt with an impressive track record in the fight scene. With years of experience and dedication to the art, Shinya brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our academy. He is passionate about sharing his skills and mentoring students as they progress in their BJJ journey.
