Sydney Uni Swim School is a leading sports club in Sydney, offering a unique swim pathway for all ages and abilities. Located on the Darlington Campus of Sydney University, our Olympic 50-metre indoor pool is heated to 28 degrees, providing a comfortable and conducive environment for swimmers.
Our swim programmes cater to everyone, from our youngest learn-to-swimmers to our competitive university team. We welcome individuals from Sydney's inner west, south, and eastern suburbs to join our inclusive and supportive community.
At Sydney Uni Swim School, we offer term-based learn-to-swim lessons and squad sessions, allowing swimmers to progress and improve their skills. Additionally, we provide optional holiday intensive programmes throughout the year, perfect for those looking to fast-track their swimming abilities.
Assessments at our swim school are free of charge, ensuring that each swimmer is placed in the appropriate level based on their abilities. We prioritise ease of re-enrollment and provide regular progress reports, which are easily accessible through our Parent Homeportal.
To accommodate busy schedules, we offer two complimentary makeup sessions each term, subject to availability. Pre-booking registration is required, and we do not offer online booking or payment services at this time.
To ensure the safety and well-being of our swimmers, we have implemented health and safety guidelines, adhering to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Sydney Uni Swim School also participates in the Active Kids and First Lap Vouchers programmes, providing financial assistance to eligible families. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn and enjoy swimming, regardless of financial circumstances.
Our dedicated team of experienced coaches and instructors are committed to helping swimmers reach their full potential. They are passionate about fostering a love for swimming and assisting individuals in achieving their goals.
Convenient parking options are available near our facility, with free one-hour parking directly outside the Sports and Aquatic Centre. Paid parking areas are also located opposite the Centre, with hourly rates and free parking after 5 PM and on weekends. Paid street parking is available on Abercrombie St and The Maze, while Shepherd St Car Park is situated near the Seymour Centre.
Sydney Uni Swim School is part of Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness, a not-for-profit organisation that reinvests profits back into its programmes, services, and facilities. This allows us to continuously improve and provide the best experiences for our students, alumni, and the wider community. We are also proud to receive support from the University of Sydney through Student Services and Amenities Fee funding.
