The club offers a Wednesday night men's league at the North Sydney Boys High School, with games scheduled between 6:30pm and 11pm. The next season is set to start on February 21st, and teams can nominate themselves now to secure a favourable waiting list position.
There are two divisions available in the men's league: Social (grade 3) and Social (grade 4). Teams participating in the competition are required to pay a team nomination fee of $100, along with a team fee of $1330 for 11 games plus finals for the top 4 teams. This amounts to a total fee of $1430, which averages to approximately $18 per player per game for an 8-player team. It is important to note that an annual player registration fee of $83 per player, valid for 12 months, must be paid before the first game.
This registration includes a custom-designed jersey for the player's team, basic injury insurance, and an online player profile.
Jerseys in the team's custom design are included in the player registration fees. All games are fully timed, lasting approximately 30 minutes, with the clock stopping on all whistles. The average game length ranges from 40 to 55 minutes. Players never have to do bench duty, ensuring maximum playing time.
In addition, the club keeps track of positive statistics such as points, rebounds, steals, assists, and blocks. These statistics are recorded during games and uploaded to the club's website, allowing players to track their performance and progress.
Sydney Social Basketball – Crows Nest is always looking for new teams and individuals to join their competitions. If an individual is looking to join as part of a team, they can do so through the club's partners at Just Play. Team registrations can be completed online through the club's Team Registration form or by contacting them directly.
