Sydney Jump Club

Sydney Jump Club, located in Clarendon, is the oldest running Jumping Club in Australia, with a rich history of nurturing talented horses and riders. The club began its journey at Warwick Farm Racecourse before moving to Scheyville, and now it has its permanent grounds in Clarendon.

The Clarendon grounds of Sydney Jump Club are renowned for their beauty and functionality. With three spacious grass rings and sand warm-up areas, the grounds are considered among the nicest in the country. They provide ample space for riders to practise and showcase their skills. One of the standout features of the Clarendon grounds is the spacious raised spectator mound. This mound offers a perfect vantage point from which to enjoy the action in all four arenas. Entry to the grounds is free for spectators, and there are plenty of food and refreshment options available during club days.

Additionally, the club boasts a spacious clubhouse with toilet facilities for the convenience of members.

The committee of the Sydney Jump Club consists of dedicated individuals who are passionate about promoting and advancing the sport of showjumping. Currently, the committee includes Colleen Brook as President, Dr Juho Looveer as Secretary, and Susan Nault as Treasurer, among others. These committee members work tirelessly to organise and oversee various events, training days, and competitions throughout the year.
