Swimming Opening Times

Henleaze Lake is excited to announce that it will be starting its swimming sessions for amateur swimmers from April 27th to October 1st. These sessions are not only open to our members but also to their guests and Community Access users. If you fall into the category of Community Access Users or weekday members, all you have to do is show your card at the gate to book your session during the week and quiet weekends.

As we head into October, the lake will be open on Wednesdays and weekends to all our members, guests, Community Access users, and regular attendees from the wider usage programme. When winter rolls around (November to April), we still have our swimming sessions on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Senior members who have paid the winter swimming subscription can enjoy a swim and use the sauna during these chilly months.

Please note that the allowed swimming area may be reduced if the water temperature drops below 10 degrees Celsius. If the lake is iced over, sessions will unfortunately have to be canceled.
