Swim-IT Swimming Club

Welcome to Swim-IT Swimming Club, a leading swimming club located in Bathgate, West Lothian. Since July 2013, Swim-IT SC has been serving the community as a swim school and established themselves as a competitive swimming club in 2014, revolutionising the swimming scene in West Lothian.

At Swim-IT, our focus goes beyond simply teaching individuals how to swim. We believe that swimming should be a fun and enjoyable experience, while also fostering teamwork, improving exercise regimes, and increasing stamina. Our dedicated coaches also pay attention to developing socialisation, communication, turn-taking, discipline, and life skillsessential aspects of daily living.

We value the importance of parents' involvement in their children's swimming journey. We strongly believe that parents are an invaluable asset to our club. That's why we actively seek out time to discuss the progress of their swimmers through regular parent-coach meetings. We also welcome feedback from parents and use it to continuously improve what we do.

While winning is important, we understand that success is not solely defined by coming first. To us, winning means giving your best effort, achieving personal bests, and feeling positive and motivated to constantly improve. We believe in celebrating the journey and the personal achievements of our swimmers.

Our swimming club offers a wide range of programmes to cater to various needs and levels of swimmers. We have lessons programmes for moms and tots, learn-to-swim programmes, cluster clubs, taster sessions, and even adult lessons. For competitive swimmers, we have four main squads, video analysis, a sub-framework for national potential, land training/gym sessions with qualified personal trainers, and even yoga sessions. We also cater to masters groups, people with disabilities, open water swimmers, tri-athletes, and provide injury prevention and KCR treatment.

At Swim-IT SC, we operate several programmes throughout the week, which may be subject to change due to pool access during these Covid-19 times. Special programmes are held on Monday, club training is available from Tuesday to Thursday, and Friday offers a mix of lessons and club training. Weekends are reserved for disability programmes, lessons, and galas.
