Designed for children aged 4 years and above, Swim Angels offers high-quality swimming lessons that prioritise your little angel's enjoyment and progression. We believe that swimming is not only a fun activity but also an essential survival skill and a beneficial form of exercise for children's development.
At Swim Angels, we strive to keep our lessons fun and interesting while promoting good swimming techniques. We draw inspiration from swim techniques around the world, especially Australia and the USA, to provide a well-rounded swimming education. Our small class sizes ensure personalised attention, with just 5–6 children per swim teacher.
We are proud to use the internationally recognised STA badge and certificate scheme, ensuring that your child's swimming achievements are acknowledged and celebrated. Our instructors introduce breaststroke and dolphin kick early on, setting the foundation for advanced techniques in the higher stages. With small class ratios, progress tracking, and in-water instruction, we constantly monitor your little angel's progress and provide valuable feedback.
Swim Angels offers a free trial lesson to give you and your child a chance to experience our teaching methods and facilities. You can conveniently book your lessons through our online booking form, providing a secure and data-protected process.
Our founder, James, has over ten years of experience teaching swimming and has worked in some of London's most exclusive pools. He is passionate about providing the best techniques and helping students reach their goals. James is particularly interested in the technical aspects of swimming, including biomechanics, aqua dynamics, and anatomy/physiology. You can trust that your child is in capable hands with James and our team of skilled instructors.
In addition to our swimming lessons, Swim Angels offers a range of other services, including pool hire, to cater to your specific needs. We have separate male and female changing facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for everyone.
To make your experience with us even more enjoyable, Swim Angels also incorporates fun games and activities into our lessons. Each lesson typically consists of a warm-up session, skill-enhancing drills, and a few minutes of engaging activities. Our instructors may provide in-water instruction for beginners, ensuring proper technique and body alignment, and may occasionally demonstrate or assist with advanced techniques from poolside.
We operate during term dates which run from 3rd September 2023 to 21st July 2024. Please note that there are no lessons on specific dates, such as Christmas and Easter holidays, as indicated on our website.
