Welcome to Surrey Rams Basketball Club, a thriving and inclusive community in Guildford, NZ, dedicated to nurturing talent, fostering sportsmanship, and shaping holistic individuals. Founded in 2010 by Lekan Popoola, Surrey Rams is more than just a team it is a place where players of all ages and abilities can develop as individuals and reach their full potential on and off the court.

At Surrey Rams Basketball Club, we offer a nurturing and competitive environment for all basketball players. Our CVL (Central Venue League) teams, for boys and girls aged U12 to U18, focus on building players' confidence and basketball foundations. For more advanced players, our NL (National League) teams provide the opportunity to compete against the strongest teams in England and potentially even play abroad.

We pride ourselves on our comprehensive training programmes, designed to develop the skills, techniques, and strategies needed for success in the beautiful game of basketball. Our dedicated team of experienced coaches, led by Lekan Popoola, are passionate about inspiring a new generation of basketball players and creating a positive and supportive learning environment.

In addition to our teams and training programmes, Surrey Rams Basketball Club offers a range of other initiatives. We host holiday camps, providing young players with the opportunity to further develop their skills during school breaks. We also run community programmes in local schools, promoting the benefits of sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical activity.
