Surrey India Arts Club

Offers a wide range of classes including Bhangra, Acting, Painting, Singing, and Music, aiming to provide a platform for individuals to explore and showcase their talents while learning about Punjabi traditions and culture. The club believes in the motto “Change is Law of Nature” and encourages its members to embrace change while still honouring traditional values.

Surrey India Arts Club has a rich history of accomplishments, with its junior team recently winning at the Elite Bhangra Competition. The club also performed at the Jewish Cultural Centre in Vancouver as part of the Israeli Festival Ha'Rikud, showcasing the diversity of talent within the group.

As a non-profit society, Surrey India Arts Club is dedicated to creating awareness among the Punjabi community in Canada about the importance of preserving language and traditions. Established in 1975, the club has continuously worked towards this goal, with members who are passionate about passing on their knowledge to the next generation.
