Similarly, Michael started dancing at a young age and became a British No. 1 in both Ballroom and Latin American in the Juvenile and Junior categories.
Alongside his dance career, he completed a PhD in Applied Mathematics at the University of Surrey. Nika, on the other hand, started dancing in Ukraine at the age of 12 and moved to the UK in 2013. She studied Business Management and partnered with Michael, creating a partnership that extends beyond the dance floor as husband and wife.
Together, the team at Surrey Hills Dance Centre has achieved numerous accolades and successes in their dancing careers. Their remarkable accomplishments include winning significant amateur Ballroom and Latin American events and representing the Ballroom and Latin American British Team.
