There may be restrictions on shooting at the Old Paddock on certain days due to horse racing on the Downs. Additionally, practise sessions are held on most Saturday afternoons throughout the year and on Tuesday and Thursday evenings during the summer.
Members of Surrey Bowmen and Atkins Archers have the opportunity to join the club's indoor group, which grants access to the facilities of Gally Hill Shooting Club for indoor shooting. This facility, located in Banstead, offers shooting opportunities every Wednesday afternoon and evening. The clubroom above the shooting range provides social amenities, such as tea, coffee, and a lounge area for members to meet and socialise. Non-shooting visitors are also welcome at no charge.
